Designosophy is the art of creating unique atmospheres.
From 2012 till 2018 the exhibition Selected
was the absolute highlight of the yearly
festival Designmonat Graz.
Selected focuses on the evolution of contemporary product design and the latest trends of the interior design market. Curator Alexa Holzer looks for products ready for serial production as well as experimental pilot studies. She seeks out works uniting strong identity with highest function and quality. Visitors of the exhibition will encounter a new, unexpected, mutable atmosphere which invents itself within the context of carefully selected objects.
Selected claims to cross borders and to enter uncharted territory. In cooperation with the Universal Museum Joanneum the exhibition is composed as a counterpoint within the portrait exhibition at the Neue Galerie Graz. 80 contemporary design themes, topics and aspects meet portraits from two centuries.

Internationales Interior-
und Produktdesign im Naturkundemuseum
The exhibition of 2017 combines colours, materials and functionality from two worlds that don't seem to have much in common. 150 international design objects meet with the variety of the natural history collection of the Universal Museum Joanneum. Both objects and their position are carefully selected and staged. Design and nature begin to interact and thus create a symbiotic intervention.
