In 2006 Alexa Holzer founded Laden21 in Graz, a shop specializing in the purchase and sale of design objects and furniture as well as the planning and furnishing of commercial and private spaces. During this period she ventured to plan and curate her first design exhibition which became a huge success.
After eight thriving years in trade and curation Alexa Holzer decided to focus more on corporate architecture, thereby offering expertise in outstanding concepts for the perfect choice of colours and materials as well as furniture. Her publicly acknowledged work as curator of the exhibition „Selected“ – the largest design show in Austria – clearly shows her professional expertise in the field of international product and interior design.
Early in her life Alexa Holzer realized her love and special gift for design. In her youth she learned the art of glassworks, the technique of reverse glass painting and the skills of mosaic artistry. After a training at the Werkraumtheater Graz she worked as a supervising manager at Kristallwerk Graz, being responsible for scenic set up, stage production and event management.
